Working Principle

The PS18T photoelectric sensor installed at the turnstile gate is used to detect whether someone is breaking into the turnstile gate. When the card is swiped outside the yellow line, there is no object at the gate, the sensor signal is normal and the wing gate will open; if someone enters inside the yellow line, the sensor signal at the gate changes and the wing gate will not open even if the card is swiped. This design aims to prevent the opening and closing of the wing gates when the card is swiped within a short distance, causing a safety hazard, and also to prevent break-ins.
