Door light curtain contains a series of photo eyes vertically aligned in a row,The light curtain extend the protection height of the door to provide expanded coverage. therefore this is the better option for protection against entrapment compared with photo sensor.
Door Blanking
Door Blanking function allows the detector to be positioned in the guide tracks of a industry door, where the door travels directly in the front of protection area, interrupting the beams sequentially from the top to bottom. The function ensures the system can distinguish between the closing door and the object by ignoring the beams that are blocked by the moving door while ensuring the below remaining beams active to detect people or object below the door edge.
Starting from the first beam at the light curtain output end, the beams are sequentially blocked, and there is no output from the light curtain during the process.
