     GDC1000 measures distance at TOF (time of flight) principle basis. GDC1000 emits modulated laser (invisible) pulse continuously and when the light pulse encounters an object, it will be reflected and received by GDC1000 again. By calculating the phase difference and time difference of the light pulse transmitting and receiving, the distance between the measured object and the camera will be acquired.

Product Application

GDC1000 measures distance at TOF (time of flight) principle basis. GDC1000 emits modulated laser (invisible) pulse continuously and when the light pulse encounters an object, it will be reflected and received by GDC1000 again. By calculating the phase difference and time difference of the light pulse transmitting and receiving, the distance between the measured object and the camera will be acquired
For example, Detection field angle 45*10° means detection angle of 45 ° horizontally and 10 ° vertically. Compared with single line radar, the vertical direction with a larger field angle can better identify the obstacles in front. When GDC 1000 works, it will detect all positions in different distances within the detection range, and obtain all distance information through multi frame synthesis.
When the absolute (minimum) distance between the detection plane and the sensor is △ Z, the maximum distance in the horizontal direction is △ x, and the maximum distance in the vertical direction is △ y. The following table lists some reference values of △ X and △ y when the △ Z value is fixed.
