Diagnostic function

1. Self-failure test function
When the power is on (within 2 seconds), the light curtain carries out a self-test to confirm whether there is a fault. In addition, a self-test will be performed periodically (within response time) during the work process.

2. Control output(OSSD)waveform
When the light curtain is at the lighting state( the beams are not blocked), the control output is NO,  while in order to test the output circuit, the Control output will turn to OFF Periodically and the output circuit is diagnosed as normal if the OFF signal was feedback. When the off-pulse signal is not included in the output signal, the output circuit or wiring of the receiver is diagnosed as a fault, and the light curtain immediately enters the locking state.
 

Product self-inspection steps

1. Detect whether the installation position of the object and the proximity sensor has deviated, slack, or skewed; whether there is slack, poor contact, or disconnection in the wiring and connection parts
2. Whether there is adhesion or accumulation of metal dust, etc.
3. Is there any abnormality in using temperature conditions and environmental conditions?
4. Set whether the flashing of the display lamp type is abnormal.
If you must be careful not to disassemble and repair by yourself during the inspection, and to easily find out the fault, you can investigate the operating state of the sensor through the connection with the portable detector, and then repair it according to the situation.

In order to make the photoelectric sensor work stably for a long time, it should be regularly checked with the same contents as the general control equipment to maintain its long-term function. The photoelectric sensor can also be stocked. Once a problem with the photoelectric sensor is found, we can replace it in time without affecting the use of the sensor.
